About this work
Hexagonal salt cellar of porcelain on three modelled feet, painted in underglaze blue. On the top two roosters by flowering plants; on the rim hatching interrupted by flowers. The wall is pierced in a honeycomb pattern with around it flower branches and lacework. On the rim and feet the glaze has loosened in some places. Blue and white.
