About this work
Porcelain milk jug with pear-shaped body, lid and small, triangular spout, painted in underglaze blue. The belly is divided into six compartments with alternating a flower branch and a woman (long-robed). On the wide neck twice a blooming lotus plant. On the lid a flower branch and a band with spiral work. Marked on the underside with 'yù', jade. Contemporary silver mount. Blue and white.
