About this work

Porcelain plate, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold. On the flat of the plate, large, flowering plants (peony, chrysanthemum, aster) behind a rock and a fence; the rim alternates with lacework and a floral branch in a cartouche. A crack in the wall. Chinese Imari.
