About this work

Porcelain plate, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold. On the flat of the plate, a medallion with a flower, surrounded by six petal-shaped compartments filled with floral branches; between the compartments, a floral vine; on the reverse side, three loose flowers. Chinese Imari.
