About this work

Porcelain plate, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold. On the flat of the plate a medallion with a flower, surrounded by six petal-shaped compartments filled with flower branches; between the compartments a floral vine; on the reverse side three loose flowers. A crack in the plate. Chinese Imari.
