About this work
Porcelain bowl, the wall with three rows of modelled compartments and lobed rim, painted in underglaze blue. The compartments in the lower two rows of the wall are twisted with a lobed upper side, filled with flower branch; the top row is oppositely twisted and also filled with flower branch; on the base a flower branch on a rock with butterfly; the inner rim with twisted compartments with flower branch. Marked on the underside with the character 'Yù', jade, in a double circle. Chip on the inside of the bowl. Blue and white.
