About this work

Kraak porcelain lidded bowl with molded rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the base flowering plants (chrysanthemum) by a rock with clouds above. The inner wall divided into four broad panels with a peach or flower branch in a molded cartouche; between them four narrow panels with bows. The inner rim with the same cartouches on lacework; the narrow panels with a ruyi motif. The outer rim with three flower scrolls; the outer wall with four medallions with dots and four narrow panels. Several chips in the rim. Kraak porcelain in blue and white.
