About this work

Plate of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface antiquities (vases, peacock feathers, books, scrolls, censer) and wonderful objects such as a statue of a dragon on a cushion and a parrot on a stand; the rim with lacework alternating with lobed cartouches with a dragon in white reserved on a blue background; on the back treasures (diamond, pearl, musical stone), auspicious symbols (conch) and an attribute of the Eight Immortals (castanets). Marked on the underside with a seal mark in a double circle. Two chips and a crack in the rim. Blue and white.
