About this work

Plate of porcelain with a partially pierced rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface a medallion with large, flowering plants (peony) beside a rock. Between the pierced parts on the rim scalloped cartouches with flowering plants (orchid, plum, lotus, aster); above this a band with hatching. The outer wall with a continuous flower branch; the outer rim with four times a stylized flower branch. Marked on the underside with a ruyi scepter in a double circle. Blue and white.
