About this work
Lid of a porcelain vase, painted in underglaze blue and red and overglaze green, yellow, aubergine and gold. Covered with bleu poudré (powdered blue) with four elongated reserve cartouches with scalloped edges filled with a crane and a deer in a landscape, antiquities (vase, books, censer), treasures (artemisia leaf, books) and an attribute of the Eight Immortals (castanets), a pond with lotus plants and two cranes, a figure in a river landscape; on the blue, flowering branches in gold. Two chips in the rim of the lid. Bleu poudré with famille verte.
