About this work

Porcelain cup, painted in underglaze blue on biscuit in green, yellow, aubergine, and black, and in red, green, and black on the glaze. The exterior of the cup is covered with a black glaze with reserved plum branches and three cartouches with floral branches; on the base, flowering plants; on the wall, floral branches; the rim with a zigzag pattern. Marked on the underside with a mushroom (lingzhi) in a double circle. Famille noire.
