About this work

Porcelain cup painted in underglaze blue, on biscuit green, yellow, aubergine, and black, and overglaze red, green, and black. The exterior is covered with a black glaze with plum branches in reserve and three cartouches with floral branches; a rock with flowering plants in a medallion; surrounded by four decorative bands with floral branches, loose flowers, and zigzag work. Marked on the underside with a mushroom (lingzhi) in a double circle. Old label on the underside with 'The Seed Collection 810'. Famille noire.
