About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue, on biscuit green, yellow, aubergine and black and on the glaze red, green and black. The outside of the saucer is covered with a black glaze with in reserve prunus branches and three cartouches with flower branches; on the foot a rock with flowering plants in a medallion; around this four decorative bands with flower branches, loose flowers, and zigzag work. Cup with the same decoration. Marked on the underside with a mushroom (lingzhi) in a double circle. Old label on the underside with 'The Seed Collection 810'. Famille noire.
