About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain, painted on biscuit in blue, red, pink, green, yellow and black. The ground of the saucer is covered with a black glaze with therein reserved three deer in a river landscape with trees, mountains and mushrooms (lingzhi). The cup with the same decoration. Two cracks in the rim of the cup; wall of the saucer has been broken. Possibly decorated in Europe. Famille noire with Famille rose colors.
