About this work

Porcelain plate with ribbed wall and lobed rim, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze with blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the flat, a basket of flowers (peony, chrysanthemum, aster, lotus). Around the basket a band with lacework interrupted by six cartouches with treasures (diamond, pearl, books, coin, scrolls). From this band twelve petal-shaped compartments on the wall with flowering plants; on the rim a band with flowers in medallions. The outer wall with three flower branches. Marked on the underside with a seal mark in a double circle. Famille verte.
