Saucer-dish with two peacocks, rocks and flowering plants

Porcelain dish with round body, painted in underglaze blue and in enamel colours in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the flat surface two peacocks on a rock surrounded by flowering plants (chrysanthemum, peony, etc.); the body with a stylised lotus and chrysanthemum on different grounds, alternating with bamboo, prunus and pine in a cartouche; the rim with cut-out prunus branches in an iron-red ground. Marked on the underside with an artemisia leaf in a double circle. Dish has been broken. Famille verte.
