About this work

Porcelain plate with round wall, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze with blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the flat, a medallion with two birds and flower branches; around the medallion four compartments with a feng huang, a landscape with a figure in a boat, a qilin and symbols of luck, between them four smaller compartments with flowering plants; between the compartments flower branches and butterflies against a black-spotted green ground; the rim with stylized flower scrolls in a cartouche alternating with lacework; the back with three flower branches. Marked on the underside with an artemisia leaf in a double circle. Rim chipped. Famille verte.
