About this work

Porcelain plate, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, turquoise, black, and gold. On the flat a rooster on a rock at flowering plants (aster, peony); on the wall and rim flower vines alternating with three lobed cartouches with a flower group behind a fence; the rim with scrollwork alternating with a flower in a cartouche. On the back a flower vine. Enamel decoration executed later in Europe. Plate restored with five rivets. Decorated in Europe in famille rose.
