Lid of a lidded porcelain pot with baluster-shaped body and ribbed wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, black and gold. On the wall cartouches against a multicolored background of vertical bands (harlequin pattern); two cartouches in the form of open scrolls with a woman (long dress) with a boy (fool) in an enclosed garden with flowering plants, below two leaf-shaped cartouches with peony sprays and butterfly, on either side of the large compartments a smaller pomegranate- and finger-lime-shaped compartment with lucky symbols; on the neck a band with flower sprays. The lid with the same decoration. On the underside an old label with 'S.K. 21'. Lid is restored. Belonging to a five-piece cabinet set. Famille rose.
