About this work
Plate of thin porcelain, covered with a pink glaze and painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow and black. On the flat two seated Chinese men examining a scroll, around them various lucky objects; the rim with flower and fruit branches. The reverse is covered with a pink glaze. Famille rose with a ruby back.
