About this work
Soup plate of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the center a seated woman, an old man and two boys among lucky symbols such as a flower vase, fruit bowl with finger lemon, scrolls etc.; on the rim two flower branches, two butterflies and two grasshoppers against a background of lacework. The rim has been broken. Old label on the underside with 'Collection T./ 170'. Famille rose.
