Bottle vase with light brown and ornamental borders

Rosewater dropper or point bottle of porcelain with a globular body and two swellings in the neck, painted in underglaze blue and with café-au-lait glaze. The lower part of the body is covered with a light brown glaze above which a band with a thick cream-colored glaze; the shoulder in underglaze blue with lacework alternating with a flower in a medallion; the neck also in blue with three decorative bands: one with a geometric pattern alternating with a medallion with a flower scroll, above that a band with hanging leaf motifs, around the rim a band with hanging, pointed leaf motifs; on the underside a double circle. Old label on the underside with: A. Staal Antiquaire/ Rokin 156 Amsterdam. Rim damaged. Monochrome brown with blue and white.
