About this work

Bottle-shaped vase of porcelain with a globular body and a long, narrow neck, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the body antiquities (tripod, books, flower vase, scrolls, incense burner, qin, ruyi sceptre, vase with peacock feathers, lotus sceptre), valuables (music stone, artemisia leaf) and luck objects (shell). On the shoulder a band with flower scrolls; the rim with a band of hanging tassels. The bottle is set in a bronze Louis XV mount. Famille verte.
