About this work

Porcelain bottle with a globular body and a narrow, straight neck, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. The body and neck are covered with a pattern of stylized floral scrolls; around the shoulder a band with floral scrolls against a black-spotted aubergine ground; around the rim a band with a geometric motif. Marked on the underside with a G. Famille verte.
