About this work

Shell-shaped porcelain bowl with ribbed wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the bottom antiquities (flower vase, ruyi scepter, censer, etc.); on the handle two symbols of good fortune (umbrella, fish); on the rim stylized lotus tendrils against a black-speckled green ground. Underside unglazed. Chip in the rim. Famille verte.
