About this work

Shell-shaped porcelain bowl with ribbed wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the bottom antiquities (flower vase, ruyi scepter, censer etc.); on the handle two symbols of good fortune (umbrella, fish); on the rim stylized lotus scrolls against a black-speckled green ground. Back unglazed; handle restored with five staples. Famille verte.
