About this work
Beaker vase of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine and black. On the wall a broad band with elongated, lobed cartouches with flowering plants (plum, bamboo, peony, aster) and birds or antiquities (flower vase, vase with peacock feathers and coral, books, image of a shishi). Below and above a band with standing or hanging leaf-shaped cartouches with flower vines or a flower branch. Above the foot a band with plum blossom on 'crackled ice'; the rim with a band of lacework. Famille verte.
