Vase with deer in a landscape, flower sprays and butterflies

Cylindrical porcelain vase with a sloping shoulder and flaring neck. Painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, aubergine, and black. The body is covered with scrolling work with peony branches and butterflies; within this, two square cartouches with two deer in a landscape by a pine tree and mushrooms (lingzhi). Between them, four leaf-shaped compartments with a peony branch or three fish. The neck with two leaf-shaped compartments with flower branches against the same background. Around the foot, a decorative band. On the shoulder, a band of lacework interrupted by lobed cartouches with symbols of good fortune (qin, diamond, pearls, scrolls, books). Famille rose.
