About this work

Cylindrical vase of porcelain with spreading neck, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. The vase is covered with damask work with in reserve two large cartouches, one with a lotus plant and one with a peony branch; on the neck a peony and a plant with a grasshopper; on the rim zigzag work. Rim damaged. Old label on the underside with 'Huth 334 19/5/05'. Famille verte.
