About this work

Octagonal, deep, elongated porcelain dish painted in enamel colours in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold with a compartmental decoration filled with flowers and animals. On the flat surface flowering plants and two kingfishers; the body on the inside and outside with four large compartments filled with prunus, peony, chrysanthemum and magnolia, alternating with smaller compartments with flower branches; the rim on both sides with flower branches against a green speckled ground; the rim on the inside with cartouches with insects and on the outside with cartouches with peach branches. Two drill holes in the foot ring. Famille Verte.
