About this work

Octagonal, deep, elongated porcelain dish painted in enamel colours in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold with a compartmental decoration filled with flowers and animals. On the flat surface a tree with flowering plants and two birds; the body on the inside and outside with four large compartments filled with flowering plants, alternating with smaller compartments with flower and fruit branches; the rim with a geometric motif alternating with flower rosettes, with on the inside cartouches with insects and on the outside cartouches with fish and crayfish. Two drill holes in the foot ring. Famille verte.
