Covered vase with powder blue flowering plants in panels

Baluster-shaped porcelain lidded vase, covered with underglaze blue and painted on the glaze in gold. The exterior and lid of the vase are covered with bleu poudré (powder blue). The body is divided into eight lobed compartments, each with a flowering plant at a rock (peony, chrysanthemum, aster, lotus, prunus). Between the compartments on the shoulder is a ruyi motif. The neck and lid also feature flowering plants in cartouches. Lidded vase is part of a cabinet set. Bleu poudré with gold.
