About this work

Bowl of porcelain with spreading rim, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze green and aubergine. On the wall two five-clawed dragons chasing pearls in reserve against a green ground; around the foot in reserve a wave pattern. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Porcelain with enamel colors.
