About this work
Large, bell-shaped bowl of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the outer wall, fish among water and lotus plants. Above the foot, a band with ruyi motifs. On the bottom, a five-clawed dragon among clouds and flames. The inner rim with a band with a fenghuang and a five-clawed, pearl-chasing dragon among flames and clouds. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Wanli in a double circle. Ming porcelain in blue and white.
