About this work

Plate from the VOC ship 'Witte Leeuw', 99% present; one sherd from the wall is missing. The sherd is glassy white with little embedded dirt. The glaze is blue-tinted. The base is glazed and the footring is faceted and turns inward. Little kiln sand was found.
