About this work
Egg-shaped covered porcelain pot, painted in underglaze blue. On the wall two lobed cartouches with a dragon chasing a pearl between clouds. Between the cartouches a landscape with trees, clouds, rocks and two men with a parasol on a bridge. On the shoulder and neck a decorative band. The lid with a landscape with rocks, plants and a fence. Arita, blue-and-white.
