Porcelain plate with a scalloped rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface a medallion with two seated Chinese figures in a landscape; around the medallion a band with scrolling vines. The wall and rim are divided into broad and narrow panels. The broad panels with figures in a landscape or floral scrolls, the narrow panels with floral scrolls. The back wall with two stylized scrolls. A crack in the wall. The decoration is based on Chinese Kraak porcelain. Fire clay on the footring. Arita, blue and white.
