About this work

Porcelain plate with an acanthus-shaped rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface a river landscape with a boat on the water, a person on the shore near a bridge and pavilions, mountains and trees. The rim with lacework interrupted by two cartouches with a flying crane and two cartouches with a flowering branch (prunus). Arita, blue and white.
