About this work
Bell-shaped cup of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the outer wall a landscape with a rider and two walking people among trees and rocks. On the bottom a house with a tree and an enclosed garden; the inner rim with a blue band. Marked on the underside with a four-character Ming mark. Arita, blue and white.
