Plan of the city of Maragnon (São Luís) on the Brazilian coast, captured on 30 October 1641. In the bottom right the explanation of the letters A-D in Latin. Plate no. 52 in a series of 55 depictions of the journey to and stay in Brazil of Count Johan Maurits of Nassau in the years 1636-1644.
