Judgment of Solomon

King Solomon sits on his throne and renders his judgment. Before the throne are the two women, both claiming motherhood of the living child. On the ground lies the dead child. Solomon orders the living baby to be cut in two to determine who the true mother is. A man draws his sword and holds the child, but the real mother clutches the child and begs for its life.
