Daniel opposes the condemnation of Susanna

Two elders, appointed as judges over the people, harass Susanna, in the background, while she bathes. They accuse her of adultery. On the left, the two lead her before a judge, who sits on a throne on the right, and falsely accuse her, demanding the death penalty. Susanna looks up and prays to God, knowing what truly happened and that she is falsely accused. The young Daniel in the center loudly proclaims that he will not be guilty of Susanna's blood.
