About this work
On a raised platform in the temple, the high priest presents King Joash to the royal guard. The men swear loyalty to the king. On the right, in the background, spears and shields are distributed. At the bottom of the margin a verse in Latin and a reference to the Biblical text in 2 Kings 11:4. This print is part of an album.
