About this work
King Asa and the people of Israel sacrifice seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep and goats to the Lord in Jerusalem. With loud voices they swore loyalty to the Lord. While doing so, they cheered and made music. In the foreground left, a boy with a pan flute. The print has a Latin inscription with verses. Bottom right a reference to 2 Chronicles 15. The print is part of an album.
