Ring-steeplechase on the Meir. In the foreground a black king in a litter with bearers. In front of him, in a procession, dancing and music-making men, women and children and several horses and camels. Part of the description of the entry of Archduke Ernest into Antwerp, 18 July 1594, by Joannes Bochius, Descriptio publicae gratulationis, spectaculorum et ludorum, in adventu Sereniss. Principis Ernesti Archiducis Austriae, Ex Officina Plantiniana, Antwerp 1595.
