About this work
Maximilian I of Habsburg, full-length, with a sword. His coat of arms shows a single-headed eagle with the coat of arms of Austria on its breast. This is the coat of arms that Maximilian I bore when he was King of the Romans. In his left hand he holds a wedding ring. The print is part of a book with descriptions and depictions of the counts of Holland, Zeeland, and Friesland.
