About this work
Two new hats from Berlin. Women's bust with a large Parisian neckcloth (fichu) with sleeves and on her head a 'Toque en Zéphyr' with cockade, feather and three 'poufs'. Below a white hat of straw with ribbons and bows. New type of ladies' shoe, developed from the 'sabot chinios', in two colors, with high heel and lacing over the instep. Print from the fashion magazine Journal des Luxus und der Moden, published by Friedrich Justin Bertuch and Georg Melchior Kraus, Weimar, 1786-1826.
