Large black straw hat, the brim trimmed with black ostrich feathers. Around the crown a triangular "Soubise" of black lace, hanging down at the back as a veil; decorated with ostrich feathers. Fichu "à la Ceinture de Didon", consisting of a neckerchief and an antique belt as worn by Greek and Roman women under the breasts. English gown of blue taffeta.
