According to the accompanying text (p. 161): Fig. 1: Straw hat with ribbons, over which an embroidered voile. Earrings and necklace of ....Japon of white muslin. Cuffs with a double border. Belt of pink silk. (Long) leather gloves in chamois. Purple (flat) shoes. Fig. 2: Headgear consisting of a straw hat (front) and a demi-bonnet of taffeta, with a pink ribbon tied under the chin. Voile of embroidered muslin. Japon of batiste, without trim. Short sleeves. Shawl of green embroidered silk. (Long) gloves of yellow leather. White shoes. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published in Frankfurt as a copy of the French edition by Pierre de la Mésangère, (1798-1848).
