Female figure in an oval surrounded by ten hat models. The accompanying text (p. 126) states: Fig. 1: Curly hair. Earrings and palmier agathisé. Woolen redingote with satin trim. Fig. 2: Toque of levantine, with small metal plates. Fig. 3: Hats and toques of velvet. Fig. 4: Hats and toques of velvet and satin. Fig. 5: Cornette of 'gaze filet'. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published in Frankfurt as a copy of the French edition by Pierre de la Mésangère (1798-1848).
